Your “perfect skate name” isn’t nearly as important right now as your ability to skate and work in a team atmosphere. Skaters who are selected during tryouts will begin a three-month training period that culminates in a skills test and a written rules test. Once training is completed and you've passed both tests you will be assigned to your team and you can claim your name and number. It is important to remember that being a ManchVegas Roller Girl is much, much more than just a cool name and a fab outfit. The time to be concerned about a name is after you have successfully gotten through tryouts and you are skating like a derby diva.
